HAJI ALI MOSQUE

Haji Ali Shrine was built in 1431 and is a perfect example of Indo-Islamic architecture. The sanctuary is located 500 meters from the shore of Worli Bay. Remember, it’s totally up to you to offer anything.

Siddhivinayak Temple is the house of Mumbai’s favourite god-Ganapati. It is incredibly well-loved, and hundreds of thousands of people visit the temple daily, including many celebrities.

As a tourist, avoid going out on a Tuesday as this day is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, and the number of visitors increases accordingly. That said, weekends also increase temple traffic, so your best bet is to visit on a weekday except for Tuesday.

As a constant tradition, many devotees walk from their houses to the temple. Some do it to fulfil their wishes, while others do it to show devotion.

ELEPHANT ISLAND

This place is home to a cave labyrinth of caves and temples. The three-facing Shiva statue stands out as a centre of attraction! Carved into the rock, they represent the avatars of the universe’s creator, preserver, and destroyer.
